Swiss operator Heli-Alps, based at Sion Airport, have recently acquired their first twin-engined helicopter – a Eurocopter AS355NP Twin Squirrel.  The helicopter is leased from Sable Air, a Danish registered company owned by a private owner based in the UK, and this aircraft used to be his private aircraft.  HeliHub.com notes that he while he retains ownership of the 355NP, he has replaced it and is now to be seen flying in a new AgustaWestland AW109S purchased from Sloane Helicopters.
Despite having been based in the UK, the 355NP was previously registered F-HOLF in France, and it is now HB-ZOO with Heli-Alps.  It becomes their seventh aircraft, joining two Eurocopter EC130s, two AS350B3s, an AS350B2 and a Robinson R44 Raven II.  The company was formed in 2005 by a group of four pilots.
