Shareholders of OAO Kazan Helicopter Plant at the annual general meeting on June 25th will consider the proposal of the Board of Directors to pay dividends for the year 2009 at a rate of 2.49 rubles per share, according to local press Kommersant.  There are more than 154.7 million shares currently in issue.  The total proposed payout to shareholders is thus over 385 million rubles – approximately $12.6M. Dividends are expected to transfer to shareholders before the end of this year.

This is significantly higher than the 2008 payout of 1 rouble per share, but this year’s figure is in line with the fact that net profit is 3.5 times the previous year.
