30 Jul, 10Rotorway South Africa has been granted a Manufacturing Organization Approval Certificate by the South African Civil Aviation Authority. This certificate allows for helicopters built in the South African factory to be used for commercial operations. RotorWay South Africa is in the process of several helicopters sales to flight schools. K5, a a prominent South African training school is looking at several machines and to take advantage of the relatively inexpensive acquisition and operating cost. The ability to sell helicopters for commercial purposes promises to be a major asset for RotorWay South Africa, and is a giant step towards full certification.
