On Saturday, September 25th, National will open its facility to the public for its 25th anniversary open house. Special guests will include helicopters from the Ontario Provincial Police, York Regional Police Air 2, and Hydro One. Vertical Magazine publisher and owner, Mike Reyno will be on hand for some industry talks. Also on display will be National’s full fleet of Bell 206s, Robinsons R22s and 44s, Eurocopter EC120, AgustaWestland A109 Grand and Canada’s first Bell 429.
Helicopter rides and Introductory Training Flights will also be offered along with a free BBQ lunch.
National Helicopters, founded in 1985, has grown from one JetRanger helicopter to a fleet of 20 owned and third party aircraft. Its diverse services include tours, charters, flight training, aerial construction, mineral and UXO survey, airborne law enforcement and a wide array of maintenance services. National’s main heliport is located at it 35,000 sq ft facility in Bolton but also operates bases in Markham, Oshawa, Niagara and St. Maarten. Â http://www.nationalhelicopters.com
