Texas Aerospace Services awarded $12M five-year contract to overhaul UH-60 servos and yaw trim

Texas Aerospace Services Ltd., LLP, Abilene, Texas, was awarded on Sept. 22 a $12,016,795 firm-fixed-price contract. This is a five-year maintenance and overhaul indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the overhaul of the UH-60 servo, yaw trim. Delivery Order 0001 will be awarded simultaneously with the basic for a total dollar value of $1,137,950. Work is to be performed in Abilene, Texas, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2015. Three bids were solicited with two bids received. U.S. Army Contracting Command, CCAM-AL-M, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-10-D-0189).
