5 Jan, 11The Boeing Company, Mesa, Ariz., was awarded a $44,869,770 firm-fixed-price contract Dec. 30, 2010. The award will provide services and supplies in the overhaul, repair and recapitalization of the CHINOOK weapon system. Work will be performed in Corpus Christi, Texas, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 31, 2011. One bid was solicited with one bid received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-10-D-0027).
