Helibras sold a total of 35 helicopters in 2010, significantly up from 2009’s total of 14. Of these, 25 were to the civilian market, up from 5 in 2009 – showing the difference as 10 military helicopters compared to 9.  All of these were AS350 Squirrel models, branded “HB350 Esquilo” locally.

Production in Eurocopter’s Brazilian subsidiary will be significantly increased in the years ahead as they produce up to 50 EC725s, the first three of which have been delivered from Eurocopter’s factory in France as Helibras ramp up a production line.
