The latest sightseeing excursion from Maverick Aviation Group will give explorers a multi-perspective view of Grand Canyon West Rim. Passengers will witness the beauty of the Grand Canyon and all it has to offer while traveling via plane, helicopter and by foot on the new Tribal Spirit excursion.
The company’s latest expedition will depart daily from the Henderson Executive Airport starting February 1, 2011.

“We are very excited to launch this new option,” said John Buch, president of Maverick Aviation Group. “This adventure offers a unique tourism opportunity like no other for Grand Canyon West visitors.”

Passengers who choose the Tribal Spirit will first board one of Maverick Airline’s Beechcraft 1900D aircraft and soar off to Grand Canyon West. The 25-minute flight provides unique views of Southern Nevada, Arizona and the Grand Canyon. Upon landing at Grand Canyon West, travelers will then board one of Maverick’s premier ECO-Star helicopters to enjoy a 40-minute adventure featuring a bird’s-eye view of the majestic Grand Canyon from an exclusive landing spot. After returning to Grand Canyon West, passengers will have the opportunity to explore the surrounding points of interest including the breathtaking Skywalk, Eagle Point, Guano Point and Hualapai Ranch.

Maverick Airline’s Tribal Spirit adventure is 7 hours (hotel to hotel) and is $429 per person. Transportation from Las Vegas Strip and some Henderson hotels is included.
