The FAA has announced that a meeting of the National Parks Overflights Advisory Group Aviation Rulemaking Committee (NPAOAG ARC) will take place on March 9-10, 2011 in Orlando, Fla. following HAI’s HELI-EXPO®. Held at the Rosen Centre Hotel from 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., the meeting will be open to the public. To ensure adequate space is provided, it is requested that those who plan to attend contact one of the individuals listed in the FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT section of the Federal Register Notice.

The agenda will include, but is not limited to, an update of ongoing air tour management projects and the safety assessments process, as well as discussions of roles and responsibilities, the competitive bidding process and a review of quiet technology incentives.
