New owners Boustead Holdings Bhd have allocated 1 billion Ringgits as 2011 capital expenditure for subsidiaries MHS Aviation Bhd and also Pharmaniaga Bhd. No split has been announced to give a specific figure for the Malaysian offshore helicopter operator. A company official said on today that Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT), which owns 59.28% of Boustead may trim its stake to improve the liquidity of the shares.
Boustead agreed last month to acquire a 51% stake in MHS Aviation for RM100 million ($33M) – see HeliHub.com story. In June 2010, the group acquired 86.81% of Phamarniaga, an integrated healthcare company.
