French Navy’s 34F Squadron celebrates 100,000 flight hours on Alouette III and Lynx

On June 16, 2011, the French Navy’s 34F squadron celebrated its 100,000 flight hours on Alouette III and Lynx at Lanvéoc-Poulmic base. Present were pilots, crew members, technicians, past and present – to celebrate this important event with nearly 13,000 flight hours performed on Alouette III and 87,000 on Lynx .

Vice Admiral Olivier de Rostolan presided over the ceremony, proudly recalling the essential role of this fleet, which specializes in anti submarine warfare.  A flight demonstration of three Lynx marked the event.
