Within this issue, you will learn about Great Slave Helicopters’ latest contract with Peregrine Diamonds, as well as Air Tindi’s Aqsaqniq Partnership agreement with Sabina Gold & Silver. Flight Plan also discusses Discovery Air Technical Services’ latest Approved Maintenance Organisation Certificate for the CRJ 100/200 as well as Top Aces’ recent involvement in the Trident Fury exercise off the coast of British Columbia. Discovery Mining Services has formed an Iqaluit-based, majority Inuit-owned partnership and Hicks & Lawrence acquired a new Grand Caravan for their fleet – complete with a new paint job. Furthermore, Discovery Air has announced its newest subsidiary, Discovery Air Innovations Inc., whose mandate will be to identify and capture large, new market opportunities on behalf of DA. Finally, details about applying for the Aviation Career Development Program are included in this month’s issue, along with a schedule of upcoming events for the Discovery Air Hawk One Project.
