Last month we ran an article on seven helicopters changing their address on the British CAA’s G- register to that of a finance company. Two of the affected LongRangers have now been sold to Canada.

Both aircraft had their G registrations cancelled yesterday, anotated as “Transferred to Canada”. The receiving authority, Transport Canada, has yet to record them on the C- register. Given that both have been inactive for at least two years, a wide number of different options are possible, from them being used solely as parts sources to needing a longer-term rebuild to have them flying again.
