The helicopter platform with the passenger terminal with the acceptance rate of fifty passengers per hour and with the access road is put into operation in Kaniv. The solemn opening of the helipad was held with the participation of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Infrastructure Boris Kolesnikov, the Chairman of Cherkasy Regional State Administration Serhiy Tulub and the Chairman of theCherkasy Regional Council Valeriy Chernyak.

The object is located near the Shevchenko National Preserve that allows it to accept the official delegations from other states, tourist groups for acquaintance with sights Ukrainian national and world historical and cultural heritage, history of Taras (Chernecha) mountains and so forth. In addition, the opening of the helipad will improve transportation infrastructure the Cherkasy region and of Ukraine as a whole.
