Calstar installs Belfort AWOS at California Hospital

Belfort Instrument Company, one of the country’s oldest meteorological sensor and meteorological system manufactures, has installed its DigiWxTM Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) at the George L Mee Memorial Hospital (09CA), King City, California.

The AWOS AV provides real-time wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, dewpoint and altimeter setting, visibility, and cloud height information on a graphical display, over a discrete VHF frequency, via dial-in telephone, and on the Internet. www.digiwx-09ca.com

CALSTAR is the largest nonprofit air ambulance service on the West Coast, caring for nearly 3,000 patients each year. CALSTAR currently serves California and Northern Nevada residents form 11 bases, manned 24/7 to respond to medical emergencies.
