AeroSimulators USA, Inc. announced today the delivery of an EC 135 helicopter flight simulator to Air Methods Corporation, the nation’s largest provider of air medical emergency transport services. This device complements two AeroSimulators AS350 B2 simulators delivered to Air Methods earlier in the year.
These simulators provide an enclosed Air Methods-configured cockpit together with a wide field of view visual system, and are housed in climate-controlled, self-leveling mobile units, allowing Air Methods the flexibility to serve its field operations across the United States.
“We value the partnership that has been evident in the development of these devicesâ€, stated Neil Hughes, President and CEO of AeroSimulators USA. “Through a collaborative process we have worked to ensure that Air Methods has valuable tools to help maximize its training effectiveness, and thus provide increased operational and safety benefits. With inherent mobility and a high level of customization built into our simulators, operators have access to a more flexible and cost effective training solution whose operating costs provide a compelling return on investmentâ€.
AeroSimulators is a worldwide provider of flight simulation systems, as well as electro-optic/infra-red sensor simulators and medical mission training devices. All three of these product lines can be integrated across multiple, geographically dispersed sites. AeroSimulators USA, located in Englewood, Colorado, is the U.S. affiliate of AeroSimulators Group of Sint Niklaas, Belgium.
