18 Nov, 11Bird strikes are not that uncommon with helicopters as most are operating at relatively low level. But to have two EUrocopters make emergency landings on consecutive days with holes created by those bird strikes is unusual.
On Wednesday a news gathering AS350B2 in Scottsdale, Arizona took a dove into the cockpit. The helicopter is operated for KSAZ Fox 10 News in Phoenix by Helicopters Inc.

On Thursday evening around 7pm local a Mississippi air ambulance EC135 made an emergency landing at Jackson-Evers International Airport with two crew taken to hospital. The helicopter is the primary aircraft in the University of Misssissippi Health Care's "AirCare" program
