25 Nov, 11CHC yesterday registered a new Sikorsky S92 on the British Register as G-WNSA. Given their previous use of the G-SNSx series for Southern North Sea ops, it is assumed that the new S92 is for Western North Sea flights. The helicopter is fresh from the production line - ship #152
This is CHC's fourth offshore support S92 on the UK register, in addition to the four they already operate for SAR work.
In a recent management restructure, Nick Mair was appointed regional vice president for the Western North Sea Division following the integration of CHC’s European and global operations into a single Helicopter Services Division. Tasked with leading CHC’s business units in the U.K., the Netherlands and Denmark, he will also oversee the search and rescue bases in Ireland and the U.K
