CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-South celebrates a brand new Halo Flight Landing Pad with a Helo Pad blessing. Previously, Halo Flight landed on a flat grassy area behind the hospital. That area has now been paved and outfitted with special lighting to help guide Halo Flight to the hospital. This enhancement to the hospital will help our tiniest of patients arrive safely to CHRISTUS Spohn South’s Level III Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit. In addition, adult patients, if needed, can be transported to CHRISTUS Spohn South for care.

HALO-Flight, Inc. has announced the signing of a Preferred Provider Agreement (PPA) with the renowned CHRISTUS Spohn Health System for air medical transport services from CHRISTUS Spohn facilities.

As part of the agreement, HALO-Flight and CHRISTUS Spohn have contractually solidified their preexisting partnership. The PPA will extend to all of CHRISTUS Spohn’s Hospitals in South Texas, including CHRISTUS Spohn Beeville Hospital, CHRISTUS Spohn Kleberg Hospital, CHRISTUS Spohn Alice Hospital, CHRISTUS Spohn Corpus Christi -Memorial Hospital, CHRISTUS Spohn Corpus Christi- South Hospital and CHRISTUS Spohn Corpus Christi- Shoreline Hospital.
