12 Jan, 12The second half of 2011 saw approximately 1,000 more passengers fly on the scheduled route between Algeciras in Spain and Ceuta in Morroco, which is flown by INAER group company Helisureste using an AgustaWestland AW139. Algeciras Heliport, located close to the city of Cadiz, was launched in July 2010 and the first six months of operation had 10,999 passengers. For the same six months in 2011, a total of 11,960 passengers used the service.
The overall passenger numbers for calendar 2011 was 20,507 with March being the peak month at 2,981
