UTair is negotiating with a company in Brazil to create a joint venture for providing helicopter services to offshore oil platforms, reports RAI Novosti.  Andrey Martirosov, CEO of UTair, is reported as saying that they expect to make a more formal announcement later this year, and they would like to use Eurocopter EC175s on this service.  With the type not yet certified, that seems quite optimistic.

UTair is one of the four largest operators with a fleet of 330 helicopters, covering the entire size range from Robinsons to the giant Mil Mi-26
