FDC/aerofilter
12 Feb, 12The selection of FDC/aerofilter to supply engine inlet barrier filter (IBF) systems to Sikorsky Aircraft for the S-76D and S-92 rotorcraft builds upon the long standing developmental collaboration between FDC and the aircraft manufacturer. FDC was previously selected to design and manufacture an IBF system installed and type certified on the S-76C++ production line aircraft. The advanced FDC IBF systems for the S-76D and S-92 aircraft will offer complete engine protection to these multi-mission helicopters. The design of the FDC inlet barrier filter is integral to each aircraft’s design and provides highly efficient engine protection from FOD, erosion and corrosion.
FDC/aerofilter designs, manufactures and supports turbine engine inlet barrier filtration systems for helicopters operating in any environment. The unique filtration media, commitment to innovation and gold standard customer service have solidified the FDC position as the industry leader in turbine engine filtration
