SkyTrac Systems, the world’s trusted supplier of satcom and flight following systems, is excited to announce the launch of the Remote Display Application (RDA) with Wi-Fi connectivity.

RDA is a user interface program that provides additional functionality for the DSAT or ISAT. Connecting the Wi-Fi module to an installed DSAT or ISAT will allow clients to use their iPhone, BlackBerry or Android to access RDA. RDA features include:

  • Send and receive emails to/from standard email addresses
  • Create “Quick Messages” with a template
  • Can be used as a dialer for satellite voice calls
  • Ability to view the ISAT/DSAT status
  • Initiate Emergency and Mission modes
  • Set a flight number
  • Ability to adjust volume and ringtones

“RDA is a great addition to any aircraft; it allows users to increase the functionality of their current system and allows for additional connections to the unit. When the cockpit interface is not easily accessible to all passengers on the aircraft, RDA provides a new method of aircraft to ground communication,” states President and CEO Kathleen Wallace.

For more information on RDA please drop by and visit the SkyTrac Team at Heli-Expo in booth #9835.
