Rockwell Collins awarded $8M uplift to H-1 radio contract

Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded an $8,013,321 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-09-C-0069) to exercise an option to provide AN/ARC-210(V) electronic radio and ancillary equipment for the H-1.  The contract provides for the following: C-12561A/ARC control, radio sets, quantity of 15; MT-6567/ARC mounting bases, quantity of 86; MT-7006/ARC amplifier mounts, quantity of 15; AM-7526/ARC high power amplifier mounts, quantity of 15; MX-11641/ATRC LNA diplexers, quantity of 15; AS-3972/A nine-inch tunable antennas, quantity of 56; CV-4092/A digital converter, quantity of 26; and RT-1939(C)/ARC receiver –transmitter, quantity of 71.  Work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is expected to be completed in June 2013.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
