HeliHub.com
19 Mar, 12Information made available in the last week by a distributor of Robinson Helicopter Co shows that the lead times for delivery of new aircraft are:
R22 Beta II - September 2012
R44 Raven I - October 2012
R44 Raven II - November 2012
R66 Turbine - May 2013
We note that the R66 order backlog excludes orders from EASA countries and Canada, where the type is not yet certified. Robinson has, for at least the last six months, refused to accept deposits from these countries. Once the remaining issues, principally one with the hydraulics, are resolved, we expect a flood of orders to add to the backlog.
