9 Apr, 12SPX Corp., Newington, Conn., was awarded a $28,717,375 firm-fixed-price contract . The award will provide for the procurement of tail rotor plate assembly in support of the UH-60 Black Hawk System. Work will be performed in Newington, Conn., with an estimated completion date of March 22, 2012. Two bids were solicited, with two bids received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-12-D-0065).
