This Conference brings together the rotorcraft & flight simulation communities, with the aim of mapping out the way forward for civil helicopter mission training in light of recent incidents where more extensive training might have averted disaster.
It will review current military and civil experience and lessons, and will also look at training curricula and instructor requirements to support mission training, helping develop minimum training guidelines for selected roles, and operators to develop their own mission training programs.
The Conference will open with a keynote address fromCapt Giles Porter, Head of Flight Operations Inspectorate, CAA, UK.
