7 May, 12Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., was awarded a $43,182,000 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for the engineering services to covert four UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters to the specific unique configuration for Taiwan. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., with an estimated completion date of Oct. 31, 2014. One bid was solicited, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-08-C-0003).
