Northland Emergency Services Trust bought an S76 which had been written-off following the 2011 tsunami in Japan. It has proved much more profitable for re-usable spares than they imagined, the latest item put to use being a long-range tank. Valued at NZ$224,000 new, the tank comes from the insurance-rejected shell they bought for just NZ$30,000. Various other parts have been recovered and some sold - for NZ $43,800 thus far.
