5 Jul, 12In an unusual twist, EMERCOM in Belarus - their Emergency Services Ministry - have loaned a Mil Mi-26 helicopter for a film. The aircraft has been fully repainted to represent a Russian military aircraft, and is being used in Hungary for the filming of the latest Bruce Willis epic "A Good Day to Die Hard" - aka "Die Hard 5".
We've used a file photo to headline this article, but check out these photos on the Airliners.net website:-
- on arrival in Hungary in its Belarus Emergency Services Ministry colours
- in Russian military colours, repainted for the filming
For more information on the film, which is due for release 14th February 2013, see the Internet Movie DataBase page here
We ask..... Do Belarus not expect any emergencies for a while, or have they got too big a fleet?
