HAI
9 Jul, 12At HELI-EXPO 2013 in Las Vegas, Nev., HAI and the HAI Safety Committee will debut the Rotor Safety Challenge — a new initiative offering free safety events, forums, and short courses to HELI-EXPO® attendees.
Conveniently scheduled on show days, the Rotor Safety Challenge will provide show attendees with an economical way to learn industry best practices and safety tools and techniques to apply back on the job.
The Rotor Safety Challenge offers 60-minute education courses in four different safety tracks:
• Safety Management
• Flight Operations
• Maintenance/Technical Issues
• Safety Culture/Leadership
HAI is currently seeking short course proposals from industry experts and educators who want to present at the Rotor Safety Challenge for each safety track. HAI is particularly interested in proposals for courses that are interactive, practical, speak to timely issues and trends, and represent a variety of missions, jobs and roles. Submit your proposal to HAI by Aug. 10, 2012.
Check out more information on the Rotor Safety Challenge at HELI-EXPO 2013 and contact Kristin Anderson, HAI’s manager of Education Programs, at 703-302-8467 or [email protected] with any questions.
