30 Jul, 12Prototype Engineering, Gardena, Calif., was awarded a $30,011,568 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for the overhaul of the UH-60 Black Hawk’s spindle head rotary. Work will be performed in Gardena, Calif., with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2017. Three bids were solicited, with four bids received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-12-D-0114).
