Polish manufacturer PZL-Mielec, a Sikorsky subsidiary, is being quoted by local media Warsaw Voice as landing a manufacturing contract worth up to $350M.  PZL Mielec will manufacture Black Hawk cockpits and tail booms under a five-year contract which calls for up to 250 units of each for the UH-60M and HH-60M Medevac versions of the Black Hawk.

Since 2009 PZL Mielec has manufactured nearly 100 cockpits, 75 tail booms and 75 pylons for Black Hawk helicopters. PZL Mielec also produces the international military version of the helicopter, the S-70i, which Sikorsky sells to the armed forces of other countries. Since 2009, when the production line was launched, PZL Mielec has made 12 such helicopters.
