The 2011 award marks the second year in a row RLC has been recognized by HAI for operator safety.  The new award honors a total of over 115,000 accident-free flight hours over the two-year period.

“Because of RLC’s efforts to reduce accident risk, the helicopter industry is better prepared to meet the challenges currently before us and those of the future,” wrote HAI President Matthew Zucarro in a letter informing RLC of the award.
