AgustaWestland is taking the GrandNew it delivered to Doctor Heli earlier this year to an EMS event in Japan next week.  The 19th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Aeromedical Services will feature demonstration flights of the aircraft.

On Friday 9th November, there will also be a presentation under the title of “Doctor-Heli features and activities of the first year, Kagoshima Prefecture” given by H Yoshihara from the Kagoshima City Hospital Emergency Center.

The following day has a further point of interest for AgustaWestland with a presentation by Keiichiro Mito from the School of Life Sciences on the application of the AW609 tilt-rotor to EMS and SAR work.
