The Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) event opens its doors in 2 days and the organisers are predicting high numbers of attendees with over 7,000 trade visitors expected. MEBA takes place 11 to 13 December 2012 at Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai World Central (DWC).

MEBA will feature an exhibition of 385 companies inside the terminal building at DWC, 24 hospitality chalets at the departure gates and a static park of over 45 business aircraft in front of the airport runway – a unique location for a unique event.

The show runs for three days and will host all the major manufacturers who will be displaying their aircraft at the show including Boeing, USA, Gulfstream, USA, Bombardier, Canada, Embraer, Brazil and Airbus, France. These fleets include Legacy, Global Express, BBJ and ACJ.

MEBA not only hosts the manufacturers of business aircraft but also the entire supply-chain. From the business airports such as London Biggin Hill, Fujairah Airport and Tag Aviation at Farnborough to leasing companies, insurance brokers, financiers, operators and suppliers. It’s a complete one-stop shop for anyone involved in or interested in the business aviation market.

Brand new for MEBA 2012 is the inclusion of a luxury pavilion offering anything from watches, sunglasses, jewellery to cigars and if this is not enough to satisfy the shopaholics amongst the MEBA crowd – for the very first time MEBA will feature a fully operational Dubai Duty Free shop selling everything from perfumes, traditional Arabic sweets, electronics and souvenirs.

Ali Al Naqbi, Founding Chairman of MEBAA, said: “For three days you will see business aviation at its best – we look forward to welcoming a large number of visitors to MEBA; from high net-worth individuals, regional Royalty, VIPs and government representatives, to corporate decision-makers and business people.

MEBA is a must-attend event for people who are interested in finding out how they can use corporate aircraft as a cost-effective and viable business tool. MEBA comes around just once every two years so I urge anyone interested in this growing aspect of aviation to attend.”
