BBA Aviation today announced the promotion of Mark Taylor to Managing Director of its H+S Aviation subsidiary. He will be responsible for the day to day activities of this OEM-approved engine repair and overhaul company.

Taylor joined H+S Aviation in 1990 and has worked in numerous positions throughout the company.  As an engineer, Taylor started in the Production areas of the business before working in the Engineering functions and then progressively moved through Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, Operations and Business Management to provide a well rounded knowledge of customer needs and company operations.

Taylor spent several years in the late 2000s on assignment with U.S.-based sister company Dallas Airmotive where he led the development, consolidation and management of a Component and Accessory Repair business across BBA Aviation engine service companies.

Most recently Taylor was General Manager of H+S Aviation and steps into the role of Managing Director with an in-depth knowledge of the subsidiary’s customers and operations.

“Mark has been hands-on with virtually every aspect of H+S Aviation’s operations and management,” commented Peg Billson, President and CEO of BBA Aviation Aftermarket Services. “I can’t think of a better or more experienced person to run this subsidiary as we head into a period of recovery for our industry and growing demand for the essential services that H+S Aviation provides.”

Taylor will report to Peg Billson, President and CEO of the newly formed BBA Aviation Aftermarket Services division.
