Find Your Treasure at HFI Silent Auction

Find Your Treasure at HFI Silent Auction

13-Feb-2013 Source: HFI

Helicopter Foundation International will once again be holding its fundraising silent auction at HELI-EXPO 2013, which will take place from March 4-7 in Las Vegas. HFI thanks the many individuals and organizations who donated auction items. These items help HFI in its mission to educate the next generation of helicopter pilots and maintenance professionals through its scholarship and mentoring programs, Heritage of Helicopters Display, and efforts to preserve helicopter history.

HFI’s Fundraising Auction is a great way to get involved. The auction is an amazing opportunity for bidders and donors to become part of HFI’s important work. With your involvement, you can take an active part in shaping the industry’s future. Best of all, donors can increase their exposure during HELI-EXPO®. Donated items will be displayed during four days of the show in front of more than 20,000 HELI-EXPO attendees. There are a number of exciting items up for bid, such as:

New York City helicopter tour for two, donated by Wings Air; Discovery Flight, by Longhorn Helicopters; FlightSafety donated an AW139 recurrent training; XL Insurance donated a Cleveland Classic 270 Driver; HeliValue$ donated a Desktop Appraisal; Anodyne donated an AMS-44 Dual Controller; EAM Worldwide donated a Titan XF Vest; Start Pac donated a 25 AMP Mini Power Supply; Era Helicopters donated a BBQ Cooler Kit; a portrait session was donated by Bradford Portraits; training, donated by Survival Systems; hotel stay donated by Lease Corporation International; HAI donated two HELI-EXPO 2014 registrations and three-night hotel stay in Anaheim, California; HAI also donated a Safety Management Course at HELI-EXPO 2014.

There are a number of other products and services too numerous to mention!

HFI is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, and items donated or monetary contributions to the auction are tax deductable as far as federal law permits. All items with a monetary value greater than $50 are welcome. For more information about the auction or about HFI’s goals and programs, contact the foundation’s vice president/curator, Martin J. “Marty” Pociask, at 703-683-4646 ext. 8465 or via email at auction@rotor.com.
