“Rod Youngberg is the president and chief executive officer of Vortex Aviation Limited; a consulting agency specializing in a variety of aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) disciplines as well as numerous aspects of business start-up, development and operations. The addition of Rod to our team as an aerospace consultant greatly enhances our ability to offer business-critical, value driven services to our clients’’ says Dave McGrath, president and chief strategist for AM&C.
McGrath explains that as AM&C works with aerospace clients to address their marketing and business strategy requirements, he often encounters issues related to maintenance planning, project management and business development that impede growth and profitability. Therefore, AM&C determined it was important to align with a highly-qualified, experienced and trusted partner who could accurately address this very specific set of client needs, and after careful consideration, Rod Youngberg was the choice for AM&C and its clients.
Youngberg’s background includes almost 30 years of aviation experience; starting out as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (technician and crew chief) where he specialized on a variety of Bell and Sikorsky products. His career later evolved into to senior sales and customer support roles, AMO ownership and consulting services. Throughout his career, Youngberg has worked with some of the industry’s most recognizable operators and MRO organizations from which he has derived a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience that can greatly benefit both operators and MRO organizations.
