MedEvac Foundation International appoints Chief Development Officer

The MedEvac Foundation International is pleased to announce the hiring of Jane R. Chittick as Chief Development Officer. Ms. Chittick, a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), comes to the MedEvac Foundation from the American University in Washington, DC where she most recently served as the Assistant Vice President of Development, responsible for the University’s Major Gifts fundraising efforts and Regional Advancement Plan. Ms. Chittick brings in excess of thirty years of development and fundraising experience to the MedEvac Foundation team, most notably in major gift and advancement campaigns.

“I am delighted to work with the MedEvac Foundation to help sustain existing resources, as well as build upon future endeavors that will benefit air and critical care ground medical transport providers,” says Ms. Chittick. “This is an amazing group of dedicated people with an unwavering commitment to serve patients in communities all around the world.”

The MedEvac Foundation will look to Ms. Chittick to develop, implement, manage, and evaluate a comprehensive fundraising and development program that will support, sustain and expand the Foundation’s core research, education, outreach, and community involvement programs well into the future.

“There is simply no limit on the great work that can be accomplished by our Foundation on behalf of the medical transport community, as long as we continue to invest in and strengthen our programs and services,” said Rick Sherlock, President and CEO of the MedEvac Foundation International. “The Foundation seeks to build on the momentum from a largely successful year in 2012, and we are thrilled to have Jane join our team.”

Jane Chittick assumed the Chief Development Officer position on February 25th.
