When the graduates from U.S. Army Warrant Officer Rotary Wing Class 78-19 (Green Flight) decided to have their first reunion 35 years after graduation, they knew the ideal place to get together was at HELI-EXPO. Over a dozen of the original 20 class members and their wives will be attending this year.

Class 78-19 set a record by being the first class not to lose any of the members for academic or flight deficiencies. The graduates from 78-19 have gone on to exciting careers and have flown in all but three states in the US, 19 countries around the world, over 20 different models of military aircraft and 17 different civilian models.

Members of the class have won world helicopter championships in Poland and England, and several served in Desert Storm. Some members are still currently flying in Afghanistan, and other remote locations around the world. Please join HAI in saying welcome to Green Flight!
