Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE: DCI) is pleased to announce that Mark Rigby has been named General Manager of its Global Aerospace & Defense group, effective May 1^st.  The Global Aerospace & Defense group provides advanced filtration solutions to market segments that include military wheeled and tracked vehicles, rotorcraft, military fixed-wing aircraft, commercial aircraft, general aviation and marine vessels.  The Global Aerospace & Defense group has its headquarters in Bloomington, MN and includes three additional locations:  St. Louis, MO, Valencia, CA, and Paris, France.

The group is included in Donaldson’s Engine Products segment, and Rigby will report to Tod Carpenter, Senior Vice President of Engine Products for Donaldson.  Rigby succeeds Sheila Peyraud, who was previously named Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of Donaldson.

Rigby has held several senior positions since joining Donaldson in 1996 through the acquisition of DR Technologies Ltd., the European distributor of Tetratex^® polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes.  He served as Director for Membranes in Europe in October 1998 and managed the formation of Donaldson’s Advanced Filtration Business group in Europe in 2008.  In January 2010, he became General Manager of Membranes, based in Ivyland, PA.  A veteran of the British Army, Rigby holds an electronics engineering degree and a Management Diploma from The Open University of the United Kingdom.
