Devon & Cornwall Police’s air support unit have joined Twitter and can be found @DCP_Helicopter. However, this move may be short-lived as the gradual nationalisation of law enforcement aviation across England and Wales under the “NPAS” (National Police Air Service) banner has seen various units adopt new Twitter identities involving the NPAS name. Time will tell. Meantime we welcome Devon & Cornwall Police’s move to bring them closer to the public that they serve.

Devon & Cornwall Police operates a Eurocopter EC145 from the Police HQ at Middlemoor on the outskirts of Exeter. A joint base with Devon Air Ambulance is currently being built on the north side of Exeter Airport which we expect them to move into later in the summer.
