John Currie and Sons, owners of New Zealand’s Garden City Helicopters, has taken over Pacific Island Air and Seaplanes in Fiji. As part of this, their subsidiary Helicopters Fiji has been merged into Pacific Island Air and is now being marketed as the helicopter division of the enlarged operator. They operate one Eurocopter AS355 Twin Squirrel alongside two Islanders, two floatplane Beavers and will soon be adding two floatplane Otters.

The group also owns Vanuatu Helicopters.  For more information on the Fiji operation, see  http://www.helicoptersfiji.com.fj
