The formula one championship came to Silverstone last weekend to a sell out British crowd. The Silverstone grand prix is one of the most popular rounds on the F1 calendar and is famous for its helicopter activity. Phoenix Helicopters have always had a busy weekend when the British GP comes around but this year was a record success. We had a complete sell out of charter flights in and out of Silverstone with a record number of both customers and helicopters. We flew passengers in a wide range of Aircraft from the smaller Robinson R44’s to the larger EC120, EC130 and Agusta 109.

All our flights ran on time and were a great success thanks to the work of our pilots and ground staff. We are looking forward to the rest of the year with big events such as the Goodwood festival of speed, Goodwood revival, the British Moto GP round also at Silverstone and Glorious Goodwood.
