Fourth training accident in 30 months for Upper Limit Aviation

9-Jul-2013 Source: HeliHub.com

Yesterday saw a Robinson R22 of Upper Limit Aviation suffer an accident on a training flight in mountainous terrain – see 08-Jul-13 N712U Robinson R22B American Fork Canyon, US-Utah. The instructor and student have been seriously injured.

Our database now shows nine accidents for Upper Limit Aviation. Four of these have occurred since March 2011. The oldest seven of the nine formed the main part of an article by local media outlet Deseret News which raises questions on the organisation itself.

HeliHub.com is not raising any questions or making any judgements, but we are pointing to the data we make available through our Safety Pages – which covers both Safety News and Accident/Incident data
