Heli Dubai, owned by the Government of the emirate of Dubai, has this week opened a helipad at Festival City in Dubai, a 1,300 acre, premier waterfront urban development owned by Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate. It is formed by three distinctive districts; Marsa Al Khor, Festival Centre and Al Badia which are connected by a 30km internal road network and a wide riverside promenade.

The helipad – as you can see from the photos here – provides two pads and has a 15 tonne limit. The size of the AS350 on the pad will give some indication as to its size – as Heli Dubai did not respond to our request for dimension/facility details of the pad.
