The Cadorath Group is pleased to announce the completion of renovations and upgrades to its chrome plating facility.

New plating tanks, state of the art rectifiers, improved pollution control and a modern air scrubber system are now in place. With these improvements, the facility is ready to meet the environmental standards of today and the future.

“Chrome plating is what started our aerospace companies,” says Gerry Cadorath, CEO of the company. “It was very important to us to make this investment and secure our position as a leader in the component repair and overhaul business.”

Chrome plating is used to dimensionally restore of areas of a component that are prone to wear. Since chrome plating is typically harder than the original parent materials, it greatly increases the component’s resistance to wear.
