H+S Aviation grows its engine accessory business

H+S Aviation, a BBA Aviation company and leader in engine repair and overhaul services for a wide breadth of government, commercial and business aviation aircraft, also has built the largest helicopter accessory facility in Europe.

“Given the positive growth trends we’ve observed in the helicopter sector, growing this part of our business has been and continues to be, a key facet of our long-term strategy.” stated Mark Taylor, Managing Director of H+S Aviation.  “We have concentrated efforts on building a comprehensive service and support network for the quickly expanding helicopter customer base and have been fortunate to forge significant partnerships with many major engine OEMs.”

H+S Aviation has extensive accessory capability on the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 Twin Pack and the Rolls-Royce M250 engines, which together power nearly 12,000 helicopters flying today.  “Our accessory capability is truly industry leading,” continued Mr. Taylor.  “We maintain a large exchange pool of a wide range of engine components, have very competitive turn-around times, boast 19 operational test rigs, and have responsive global AOG coverage. We truly keep helicopters where they should be – flying.”

H+S Aviation has several long-term OEM agreements with Honeywell, Eaton Aerospace (Argotech), Triumph, Meggitt, Safran, and Rolls-Royce that cover a wide range of Air, Fuel, Oil, and Electrical Engine Systems.  H+S Aviation and its affiliated engine companies – Premier Turbines and Dallas Airmotive – are OEM-approved to service more than 80% of the turbine engines in operation today on business aircraft.  The engine companies have major overhaul centers in Dallas, Texas; Neosho, Missouri; and Portsmouth, England plus they offer minor repair and hot section inspection work at 12 Regional Turbine Centers around the globe.
