Airbus Helicopter delivered an EC155 B1 to a private client on March 26 during the FIDAE airshow in Santiago, Chile.

A member of the Dauphin family, the EC155 B1 is poised to set the new standard for comfort and style in private aviation in Latin America, one of the world’s most important helicopter markets for business and private aviation.

“We are very happy to receive this new aircraft. We chose the EC155 B1 because of its spacious layout, which provides a comfortable place for both work and relaxation,” said a representative of the customer.

Over the five past years, almost 40 percent of Airbus Helicopters’ deliveries for this segment occurred in Latin America.

Boasting the biggest cabin in its class, the EC155 B1 offers a unique combination of elegance, comfort, silence and speed. It is well positioned for the growing preference among private operators for large-cabin helicopters.

Luxury options include soft leather club seats, power outlets for laptops and other electronic devices, adjustable reading lights, cabin air conditioning, satellite communications and in-flight entertainment.
